Salihli is a developing town with the population of 160.000 people and is located on ancient  city Sardis which was known as the capital of Lydia Kingdom. Salihli’s history goes back to B.C. 7.

Sardis was conquered by Persians and ruled by Greeks, Syrias, Pergamons, Romans and the Ottomans in turn. The city has minted the first coins in history in VIIth century B.C.

Salihli is  a town of Manisa with in the borders of the Aegean Region. It is located on the south of Gediz meadow and lays on descents of Bozdag mountains.
